To globally best protect our traveller's interests, financially and physically Hatfield Travel is duly registered with international and national controlling and regulating associations, obtaining these memberships by fully conforming to strictly enforced and regulated codes of conduct, financial requirements and other detailed selection criteria:

International Air Transport Association (IATA)

The International Air Transport Association is the trade association for the world's airlines, representing some 240 airlines or more than 84% of total air traffic. Based in Montreal, Canada and with executive offices based in Geneva, Switzerland, IATA supports global airline activity and helps formulate and enforce industry policy and standards. We are an approved IATA TIDS Agent, IATA numeric code 96085706.

Association of South African Travel Agents (ASATA)

Hatfield Travel holds membership of ASATA, the representative forum for the South African Travel Industry, established as such to promote professional service delivery, and providing security for both its members and their clients. As a Section 21 Company not for profit, membership of ASATA is entirely voluntary and extends to South African Retail Travel Agents, Travel Management Companies and Wholesalers, and empowering travellers to confirm the credentials and legitimacy of agencies or consultants they intend using.
